Yurok Geography

Yurok Geography

from $16.20

By T. T. Waterman. An authorized facsimile of the original 1920 work, published by the Trinidad Museum Society. It is a detailed description of the world of the Yurok, an Algonquin group in coastal northwestern California. It features large maps showing villages during historic times and geographic features, with their names and meanings, and other comments on Yurok culture. This reprint features a new introduction by Axel Lindgren, a Yurok descended from residents of the town of Tsurai on Trinidad Bay.
