Please join us in celebrating our 75th Anniversary at the beautiful and newly renovated Eureka Veterans Memorial Building!
The luncheon features a presentation by Past President Arlene Hartin and will cover the history of the Society from 1947 to the present. Enjoy a sit-down luncheon (menu shown here) catered by Uniquely Yours and a cash wine bar, not to mention the good company of like-minded local history lovers!

60th Annual Luncheon - 45 Years of Survey for the Green Book
The 2020 luncheon features a presentation by Mary Ann McCulloch of the Eureka Heritage Society who will revisit the Green Book since its publication 45 years ago.
Falk: Company Lumber Town of the American West
The 2019 luncheon features a presentation by Headwaters Forest Ranger, local public historian, and author Julie Clark who will be joined by Jon Humboldt Gates to tell the story of the lost logging town of Falk.
Trees & Grass: Boom, Bust, and the American Dream with Ray Raphael
The 2018 Luncheon features a presentation by local historian and Southern Humboldt Back-to-the-Lander Ray Raphael who will describe the colorful (and fragrant) history of Humboldt County agriculture.
Fall of the House of Gunther with Jon Humboldt Gates
The 2017 Luncheon features a presentation by Jon Humboldt Gates who will speak about the 60 years, 1900-1960, during which his family owned Gunther (Indian) and Duluwat Islands.
