Volunteer Opportunities

Do you love Humboldt history?
Contact us about volunteering!

Nonprofits love their volunteers

… and HCHS is no exception. If you’d like to work with HCHS, fill out the volunteer form and send it to us at 703 8th Street, Eureka, CA 95501.

If you can’t volunteer regularly, there are opportunities for occasional work on events or special projects. Do you love to sort through and research old photos? We have tens of thousands of them! Do you enjoy research? There are inexperienced people who need help in the Marilyn Milota Genealogy Library, or with other subjects. Are you good with computers? One of our most important missions is to get the archives digitized!

Let us know what you enjoy doing, and we’ll do our best to match you up to a much-needed job here at the research center.
