The Humboldt County Historical Society’s First Saturday Lecture Series presents “Preservation of Family Artifacts” with HCHS’s Archivist, Pam Service. Pam is a UC Berkeley graduate with Master’s degree from the University of London in Archaeology with a concentration in African Studies. Pam worked for almost twenty years in museum management in the Midwest, including Indiana’s Art Museum and the Monroe County Historical Museum. After returning to the west coast, she took the director/curator position at the Clarke Museum where she worked for a dozen years, before taking a job as HCHS Archivist for the past seven. Pam is the author of over 30 books for young adults.
The lecture will be hosted via zoom by the Humboldt County Library and can be viewed from the safety and comfort of home on a personal computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. The deadline to sign up for access to the lecture is 5:00pm on Friday, February 4th, 2022. Upon registration, participants will receive the meeting ID and password.
