Local GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) Veterans, Decoration Day 1918.
They are standing in front of Eureka's old Pythian Castle building, currently the Lost Coast Brewery.



Our records include maps of military lands, Fort Humboldt, and Fort Gaston. We also have photographs, scrapbooks, correspondence and various records. Each branch of the military is represented, as well as the National Guard and veteran's organizations. The following may be of particular interest:

  • Medals from the Indian Wars and Spanish-American War
