To avoid spending staff time on e-mail SPAM, Humboldt County Historical Society Research and Collections Manager asks that all e-mail research requests include a brief reference to the topic in the subject line of the e-mail. For example, a researcher looking for information on his or her grandfather would write the grandfather's name in the subject line.     Any e-mail requests with no information on the subject line will be deleted.

     Send an e-mail to the Historical Society with a description of the information you need.

    Also, in recent months our attempt to respond to some e-mail requests via the "reply" mode has run into some difficulties. As well as including e-mail addresses, those seeking information via e-mail are also asked to please include a telephone number.
